Step-Down Demagnetizing Cycle Electromagnetic Chuck Controls SD Series Repair

HECO and Fife-Pearce offer a selection of Step-Down (SD) Demagnetizing Cycle Electromagnetic Chuck Controls.
The SD Series automatic controls are used when greater chuck demagnetization is required and for those chucks with high wattage ratings. The main enclosure can be located at the rear of the machine or wall mounted. The chuck is operated from a small enclosure (4 inches x 4 inches x 3 inches) located at the front of the machine.
These step-down chucks include an On-Off control switch, a green light, a red light, and a variable power switch. The green light indicates power is on. The red light indicates the chuck has power. When the control switch is turned to “Mag-Off” the red light will gradually fade out. The operator can then remove the work with ease. The variable power switch on the side can be dialed for full power to residual.

The SD series also features:

    • 240/480 VAC 1-phase, 60 Hz input (please specify input voltage).
    • Variable 0 to 110 VDC output voltage.
    • Electronic Step-Down Demagnetizing Cycle.
    • “Residual Hold” feature.
    • Dust-tight main enclosure
    • Oil-Tight remote control unit with indicating lamps.
    • All solid-state circuitry.
    • 230 VDC output available on request.
